Purpose/Mission: Create a development program designed for youth interested in modern photography, videography, journalism, broadcasting, graphic design.
Vision: Impacting generations by bridging organizations with community.
Process: The name, Heleloa, generally means “to come or to go a far distance”. By having weekly meetings, guest instructors, and special projects, Heleloa Media Club will provide youth opportunity to develop interests/skills that will last them a lifetime and be used no matter how far they travel from home. Heleloa Media can provide valuable experience with: Technical use of cameras for photography and videography. Researching, writing, and reporting facts/info (journalism). Ethical use of cameras and journalism. Photo and video editing. Broadcasting

Program designed for teens and young adults...younger by exception
Meeting Times:
Weekly on location meetings with our partner organizations. Other times available by need or appointment.
Various Special Events (field trips/shoots) - members under 18 will sign in and out with designated adult on assignments.

Achieving our goals of providing experience to youth club members and media to the community will require the risk of travel. Please provide us with as much information as you feel necessary to keep your child safe and so your child may be treated appropriately in case of emergency.
